Freelance: Now until the middle of May.

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

While we would prefer candidates to work in-house in Stockholm, we are open to working with exceptional remote artists.

Create realistic destruction of city environment for different materials including but not limited to steel, bricks and concrete.

Responsibilities

Work with modelers to prepare existing environments for destruction.

Create clean efficient destruction FX that can be used in large sequences.

Create secondary destruction assets such as particles, dust and smoke simulations to increase the believability of sequences.

Qualification & skills

  • Proven VFX experience on a feature film or similar production 4+ years of experience using Houdini.
  • Thorough knowledge of particles, fluids, dops, dynamics, destruction and fracturing.
  • Knowledge of Redshift/Mantra (Vray a plus).
  • Procedural modelling is a plus.
